Frequently Asked Questions

The Bespoke Process

Our bespoke service follows a structured design and fitting process, where each gown can be carefully designed and tailored.

What is the difference between Bespoke and Made-to-Order?

Made-to-order typically involves adjusting a pre-existing design to a standard size. At Bangkok Bridal Hub, we practice true bespoke tailoring. This means we create a unique paper pattern from scratch based on your specific measurements, followed by a muslin “toile” fitting to ensure the architecture of the gown is perfect before we proceed with the next steps.

This does mean that we take longer to make each bridal gown, because we give each gown the complete attention it deserves.

Which fabrics do you specialize in?

We are specialists in textiles for wedding gowns. Our signatures include Mikado, lace fabrics, and a range of primarily structured fabrics to cater to different styles of gown.

Can I bring my own design or photos?

We welcome you to do so. Most of our clients come to us with a specific vision or “mood board.” During your consultation, we will discuss how to adapt those inspirations into a silhouette that technically complements your form and the structural properties of your chosen fabric.

How many fittings are required?

Typically, we require 3 to 4 fittings for the entire process.

Atelier & Appointments

We operate by private appointment. This ensures ample consultation and fitting time for each of our brides.

Do you have a collection I can try on?

As a dedicated bespoke atelier, we do not maintain a retail floor of pre-made sample gowns. We believe every bride deserves a gown that only she will ever wear. Our process focuses on fabric swatches, technical sketches, “mood boards” to guide the design process.

How do I book a consultation?

We operate strictly by appointment to ensure each client receives the undivided attention of our stylists and tailors. Consultations can be requested via our contact form. Once we confirm your requirements, we will coordinate a private meeting at our Sukhumvit 13 studio.

What is your typical lead time?

Typically, we require 3 to 6 months for the entire process. However, this may vary based on the type of gown you wish to make.

Express services are available for an additional surcharge.

Is there a consultation fee?

We do not charge a consultation fee at this time.

Still Have Questions?

If you require any clarification on timelines or design direction, we welcome you to reach out to us with your questions or to schedule a private consultation to discuss your gown in detail.
